High-Quality Resilient Flooring Dominates Elderly Care Market
As a kind of floor covering that features “spring”, resilient flooring is widely used in senior houses with its characteristics of being durable, non-slippery, soundproof, fireproof and eco-friendly. According to statistics, the market share of resilient flooring in China keeps an upward trend these years: the year 2016 recorded a total output of 120.73 million m2, output value of 5.43 billion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 24.46%. Since China is entering an ageing period, the increasing use of resilient flooring in senior housing, elderly care establishments and home renovation will mean a huge market for this product.
Debut of Resilient Flooring Featured Area Boosting Innovation and Growth of the Industry
With four years of cooperation with Elastic Floor Branch of China Association of Decorative Building Materials, we jointly create a Featured Area of Resilient Flooring this session which will display products including homogeneous PVC membrane, multi-layer compound membrane, PVC membrane and PVC resilient plastic flooring. Before entering Chinese market, resilient flooring has earned enough popularity in Europe and America. From obscurity to being widely recognized and used in China, it has seen many domestic brands rising to compete with products imported to Chinese market. This session of SIC brings together domestic and foreign flooring manufacturers represented by Armstrong, Xinmiao and Baoding Juheng, which will present to the public the exuberance of the market and more importantly by offering a platform of communication, promote innovation and upgrade of this industry to create more opportunities for resilient flooring’s growth in China.
