On 11 November, The 3rd China International Silver Industry Exhibition (SIC) will be organizing a “China-Japan Silver Industry Seminar” together with the Guangzhou office of Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), providing premier Japanese brands in the retirement industry and exhibitors with exclusive activities, such as high-level conferences and forums and “1-to-1” business match-making opportunities etc., to promote international exchanges and collaboration between the retirement industries of China and Japan.

SIC has been dedicated to the establishment of close ties with Japanese retirement companies. Earlier this year, the exhibition organizer held a publicity seminar in Tokyo for the 3rd SIC exhibition and gave a 360° introduction of the exhibition as a platform to industry peers in Japan. This provided a professional and efficient trading platform for Japanese retirement companies entering the Chinese elderly market. By making use of the quality resources of this international platform, many premier retirement brands in Japan have been drawn to participate in the exhibition – TOTO, Paramount Bed, Anjoy, Shiga-SH, Nepia, NAKA, TacaoF, Shinwa and Kabishikigaisha etc., – and they are bringing in the most advanced elder-friendly products and retirement solutions in the industry in the form of elder-friendly bathrooms, buildings, care products, rehabilitation equipment and assistive devices etc., to provide insightful ideas and innovative perspectives that push the growth of the industry steadily onward.

To create more business partnership opportunities for Japan’s retirement companies, SIC co-organized the “China-Japan Silver Industry Seminar” with JETRO, which brought together many premier Japanese companies and suppliers in the retirement industry, such as nursing and welfare care services, assistive devices, facilities for the elderly, personnel training and insurance etc. Through this event, Japanese companies are able to share with exhibitors  Japan’s experience in care services, assistive devices and equipment and their product advantages, and retirement operating philosophies etc., in an exploration of a retirement service model that works for the Chinese market. In addition, they are able to showcase their latest product developments and advanced technologies with a view to hooking up with competent and solid Chinese companies, distributors and agents etc.

The organizer will also be getting many professional buyers with procurement needs to attend the event. Companies and organizations such as retirement institution chains like Guangdong Guanghong Investment, Gentlefolk of Happyness, Yile Home Care Retirement Service Center, and Hong Kong Cultural Village etc., as well as various hospitals and nursing homes, agents and distributors, developers, suppliers and investment companies etc., were all present at the exhibition to engage with Japanese retirement industry suppliers and undergo business matchmaking and rewarding discussions. Through investigations and communication with companies from the two countries before the event, the organizer is able to conduct accurate matching of the demand and supply sides and to maximize the benefits of participants in this event to successfully build an international platform for trade exchanges and collaboration for Chinese and Japanese companies.

11 – 13 November 2016, the 3rd SIC will be held at the Poly World Trade Center Expo in Guangzhou. With an extensive database and quality international resources at its disposal, SIC will continue to build a more accurate matchmaking platform to cater to the needs of exhibitors and buyers, organize multiple trade activities, such as procurement fairs, product launches and trade fairs etc., to have more effective international business collaboration for exhibitors and visitors, and to open up more blue oceans in the market!
