The China International Silver Industry Exhibition (SIC2014), co-hosted by China Silver Industry Association, China Poly Group Corporation and Guangdong Committee on Aging, was unveiled at Poly World Trade Center Expo, Guangzhou on October 9. SIC2014 covers an exhibition area of 11,000m2 and attracts 150 exhibitors from around the globe to display the most cutting-edge senior friendly products and technologies, making it the biggest international feast in the silver industry in South China. The three-day exhibition will be open until October 11 and is expected to attract over 15,000 visitors and buyers at home and abroad.
Prominent Domestic and International Enterprises Gather to Picture the Future Retirement Life
SIC2014 has won the generous support of many branded enterprises at home and abroad: Direct Supply (the United States), France Bed (Japan), Baimuchuan, Bosin, and Dayang will present the latest technologies and products on rehabilitation nursing and supportive items; suppliers of high-end construction parts for the elderly such as Yonger Life, TOTO (Japan), Kohler (the United States), Foshan Dongpeng, Sino-Maple, and New Pearl will show their senior care plan; Poly Real Estate, JR Town and Caroline will bring with them their senior care real estate projects and high-end senior care experience; CRR (France), Siduco (the Netherlands), Hitachi Systems, Xiamen Zenith and Family Doctor magazine will provide comprehensive planning, consultation and supportive services for the domestic life of elderly people.
Mr. Zhong Shixiong, Secretary General of Guangzhou Social Welfare Service Association, remarked that, “The exhibition is a huge success for it displays the advanced products in the silver industry and advanced concepts of elderly care institutions in the country. I believe that by learning from the advanced experience shared in the exhibition, practitioners from across the country will make and bring better elderly care products to the next exhibition.”
Focus on the New Hotspots of the Industry and Expand the Business Horizon
At the China International Forum on Aging held this morning, Deputy Director Hao Fuqing of the Social Development Department of National Development and Reform Commission, Deputy Director Bao Xuequan of National Committee on Aging, Dean Wu Danxing of the Health Industry School of Beijing Geely University, Chairman Song Guangju of Poly Real Estate (Group) Co., Ltd., Anna Lin, Commercial Consul of the Australian Consulate in Guangzhou, and Li Yaodong, Editor-in-Chief and President of Elderly Chinese newspaper, each gave a themed lecture on cutting-edge topics such as the national policy for the silver industry, the development of the silver industry chain in China, opportunities and challenges facing enterprises and social capital, China-Australia cooperation in senior care, and the stimulating role of media, and answered questions from the audience.
Mr. Lin Gang, Deputy General Manager of Zhejiang Vanke Suiyuan Jiashu Senior Apartments Co., Ltd., said, “I heard many viewpoints at the forum, from the government level to the industry level. On the whole, they will be a great boost to the development of the industry and they show me the broad prospects of the industry.”
In the following two days, several themed forums and trade fairs will be launched along with the exhibition to attract the participation of industry associations, social organizations, industry experts and leading enterprises at home and abroad. Guangdong Provincial Real Estate Association will organize the Macao-Hong Kong-Taiwan Forum on the Development of Senior Care Real Estate and the Australian Trade Commission will organize the Australia Senior Care Service Industry Exchange & Business Fair. In addition, leading enterprises including Pine Tree Care, Zhejiang Vanke, Beijing Hexihui, Qingdao Haier, Xiamen Zenith, Shanghai Qicheng and Caroline will focus on hotspots of the silver industry, such as the senior care real estate business mode, IT-enabled senior care and smart senior care, the operation and management of senior care institutes, the sharing of experience in community-based domestic senior care, the design and integration of senior friendly products, to expand the business horizon and discuss the development of the silver industry.
