Days ago, China Life (Sanya) Investment Holding won the bidfor the F-3-1 land parcel in Linwang District of Sanya’sHaitang Bay, a successful attempt to complete China Life’s strategic layout of “Three Evergreen Estates” forretirementliving and healthcare.

The China Life’s Sanya project is a joint program with Vantone Group to bring in the model of US TIRR Memorial Hermann, where NBAstars like Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady had rehabilitation treatment, to create an international first class rehabilitation, leisure and vocational retirement-living and health-keepingcommunity. The project adjoins Hainan branch of General Hospital 301 of the PLA, which has medicine, healthcare, science and technology research, and teaching functions in one. At present, Sanya’sHaitang Bay has 32 Five-Star resort hotels either under construction or in service, a film cinema with a seating capacity of over 1,000 and the largest duty-free mall in Asia.

China Life has beefed up its investment in the retirement living and healthcare community in recent years. Beside the Sanya project, the company also has a similar project in Suzhou’s Yangcheng Lake peninsula in 2013 and amedical and health care project in Tianjin Airport Economic Area in 2014. The largest demonstration platform for healthy retirement living – China Life retirement living experience center was opened in November 2014, and so far it has received12,000 customers. In addition, the star-level healthcare Hopsca in Beijing is on China Life’s agenda in succession.

1.Suzhou Yangcheng Lake Peninsula retirement living and healthcare Project
