As a professional bridge that promotes trade and business between China and foreign countries, the 6th SIC will continue to attract the attention of domestic and foreign enterprises. This year, enterprises from Japan, Australia, Taiwan, France, and the Netherlands will show up as national pavilions as always. Enterprises from South Korea will also have their own national pavilion for the first time. This year's SIC will focus on hot topics in medicine and care, operation of senior care institutions, elderly-oriented design, community and home-based elderly care, training of senior care talents, etc. In the meanwhile, nearly 20 exciting events will be held to facilitate targeted cooperation between supply side and demand side.

1. China International Silver Industry Summit Forum

 

Based on macro policies, guests from the National Development and Reform Commission, Office of China National Committee on Aging, the National Health Commission, and the Development Research Center of the State Council will discuss new consumption hot spots and economic growth points for the development of the silver industry, and explore the new development momentum of the industry.

 

2. Prevention of Alzheimer's Disease and Rehabilitation

 

In response to problems in the care of patients with Alzheimer's disease, guests with extensive care experience will share their experience in the prevention and rehabilitation of this disease.

 

3. Community and Home-Based Elderly care

 

Leaders of government organizations, academic experts, representatives of social organizations and outstanding entrepreneurs will be invited to discuss the trends, pain points and opportunities of  community and home-based elderly care industry from the perspectives of policy, national conditions, capital operation and service mode.

 

4. Medicine and Care Development Forum

This forum, sponsored by China Real Estate Association Elderly Real Estate And Great Health Committee, aims to promote the sustainable development of the silver industry, and solve current dilemmas in the development and operation of elderly care real estate.

Big shots of the industry will be invited to analyze and interpret current market situation faced by the silver industry and national policies on the industry, and share the operation of excellent elderly care real estate projects from different dimensions.

 

7. Forum on Social Work and Elderly Care Service

 

Eight speakers engaged in social work and elderly care service will be invited to discuss and exchange views on topics such as integrating professional social work into elderly care service system and improving the level of elderly care service.

 

8. Training Summit Forum of Improving the Service Quality of Elderly Care Organizations Under the Standard Strategy of Guangdong Province

 

Authorities and organizations of the industry will probe into hot spots including the quality of elderly care institutions, the importance of social workers in elderly care institutions, professional assessment of the elderly, and the management of standardized service in elderly care institutions.

 

9. Elderly Care Design Salon

 

Based on the practice and trend of designing elderly care-oriented buildings in China, heads of well-known elderly care design companies from home and abroad will share their design concepts of different types of buildings and communities, and jointly explore how China's elderly care design industry can go beyond simple imitation and extensive development, and expand the road for more diversified development of the industry.

 

10. Annual Meeting of Rehabilitation Nursing Branch of Guangdong Association of Rehabilitation Medicine

 

Specialists and backbones of rehabilitation nursing of Guangdong Province will focus on the practice of clinical rehabilitation nursing and ways to enhance the clinical practice ability of nursing staff, improve rehabilitation nursing for patients, promote the progress of rehabilitation nursing work in Guangdong Province, and increase the influence of Guangdong's rehabilitation nursing service in the whole country.

 

11. Academic Geriatrics Meeting of Guangdong Medical Association
